Are we in Frost?

After living in Frost, Tx. for seven years, where the school mascot is the Polar Bears, we finally got to see some live polar bears. We had to travel to Berlin to see them, but it was worth the trip. The baby polar bear is Kanuk, the first baby born and kept alive in captivity.

Lizzie's B-Day Party

Liz with a few of her friends. They played "pin the ladybug on the flower", decorated flower pots to take home their very own flowers, ate very sweet cake from an American cake mix, played with Polly Pockets, bounced on the furniture, and had a generally great time.
