Those aren't bowling balls. . . they're Liz's tonsils!

As many of you know, Liz's tonsils have become quite enlarged since we came to Krakow. We've been to many doctors and the majority of them say that children in Krakow, especially foreigners, have this problem becuase of the coal that is burned in the city. We think everything is fine for now and there is no need for surgery. Thanks for lifting us up!

Taking a Break

The kids kept thinking about the movie Ice Age 2 becuase of all the melting snow and water falls.

What Beauty!

My girls. What a lovely sight to behold! They make the flowers look good.

Wild At Heart!

Will and I just had to climb something, it was too cool to miss. We had a great day in Zakopane (a small town in the mountains near the border of Poland and Slovakia).

The Hunt!

We had some friends from the company over for lunch, and the kids (of all ages) had a good old fashioned easter egg hunt. I'm not sure if we found them all but I have noticed a fowl smell of sulfur outside in the courtyard.

Happy Easter! (I think)

Which of these faces doesn't belong on a child who just revceived an huge gift of yummy chocolate candy?

Easter Sunday Pics

"Can we just get this thing over with so we can eat lunch", is what Will is thinking.

Ridem'!

Will and Liz got their wheels! Liz is loving her bike and Will is like lightening on two wheels.

Polish Grilled Cheese

They take sheep cheese, mold it into the shape of a small football, then cook it on a charcoal grill. It's incredibly salty, and if it's fresh, it squeeks in your teeth when you chew it.

Enter the Dragon's Liar!

Into the pit of the dragon we did go
carefully speelunking rocks above and below
where the beastly creature was. . .
we don't know!
But what fun we had as into the cave we did go.

Liz and Lea

This is Liz's friend Lea. She's German and speaks no English or Polish. Mostly they just scream together.

Precious!

Say "Ser"!

Crazy Man Will Dowdy!

Funky Girl!

As you can see she looks just like any ordinary Polish girl.

Won't You Take Me Down to Funky Town!

What up wit all yoose out der in da resta da world? We be haven a mitey fine time her n da big o ceety uf Krakow. Wees invit ya her!

Now I Know MY ABC's. . .

This is Will's school. It is the epitome of eastern block style buildings. Thankfully it is much more inviting on the inside than the outside. Best of all, Will likes it.

Somebody Moved Slovakia!

We went on a Saturday trip to Slovakia and somehow ended up in the Czech Republic! We found a great little Italian restaurant if anyone is planning to go there in the future. Get the roasted veggies. They were bardzo smaczne!
